- HEAVY DUTY, INDEPENDENT DISC SEALER
Our
independent style disc sealer covers better, lasts longer and is more
trouble free than any other on the market today. The independent
arm design and the large 18" notched blades provide better knife track
coverage and keeps the trash flowing thru without build-up or plugging,
it also provides better coverage in uneven terrain and allows you to be
more productive.
The large 18" notched blades have a small concave which allows you to
run the blade straighter reducing wear and tear on bearings and
spindles, minimizing disc trac. The variable blade pitch
adjustment and three-hole design gives you the ability to adjust to
your field conditions.
The heavy duty design based on tapered roller bearings instead of
plastic, fiber or bronze bushings, heavier overall components, and
elimination of springs other brands require for down pressure,
increases trouble free life of our disc sealers.
Universal mounting allows you to mount to virtually any typical
shank. Multiple slotted holes fit all common shanks: 1" x
2" flat, 1-1/4" square & 1-1/4" x 2" edge bent.

| Independent
arms with 18" notched blades, arms pivot on
1-1/4" shaft and have been fitted with a cast bronze greasable
bushing. The arms are made adjustable so that you can vary the
pitch
on the blades depending on conditions. With the 18" blade &
the
position of the blades relative to the knife, lets it shed residue
without bunching. This feature lets you run the blades straighter
which reduces the wear & tear on the bearings & pivot points. |

Style with 14-1/2" Arms
Independent style arms with 18" notched blades are used more in
side-dress situation. Blades are up beside the knife to reduce
throwing dirt on young plants. This unit also pivots on a 1-1/4"
shaft with the greasable cast bronze bushing. Arms are made so
you can change the pitch of the blade.
